REGGAE LAGI 

Bob Marley popularkan lagu reggae, katanya berasal dari rentak ska yang terkenal di kalangan pemuzik tradisional Jamaica. Namun, aku pernah baca satu edisi lama majalah, Rolling Stone yang mendakwa rentak reggae berasal dari irama keroncong yang dipersembah pendatang Jawa. Mereka ni penjajah bawa masuk ke pulau tu untuk bekerja sebagai buruh ladang tebu. Sampai sekarang, masih ada orang Jawa di sana. Yang mana satu betul? Muzik tradisi Jamaica atau keroncong dari Jawa?
